Marsha Leavitt is a New England basket artist best known for her reed basketry and pine needle artistry. From functional reed baskets to stunning pine needle art weavings, each piece is unique and reflects over 20 years of mastering the ancient art of basketry. Marsha draws inspiration from nature while on her daily walks in the woods with her canine companion, Nyla. Having received awards from the New England Basketmakers Guild for her pine needle art weaving, she continues to build on traditional techniques while adding her own artistic flair in creating exceptionally beautiful contemporary pieces for homes and public display.
