Title: Collaboration
Many contributions to this big basket make it very special. A cherry wood base that was given to me by a friend, walnut slices that were sliced by another friend, palm inflorescence and pine needles that were gathered by a friend in Florida and sweet grass that I grew, all combine for a unique and functional basket.

Made on a wooden base, this basket incorporates my two favorite colors - rust and teal. The pine needles are wrapped with rust and teal waxed linen and adorned with beads and rings.

This pine needle basket is centered on a clay disk with a tree of life image. Green and beige waxed linen carry the colors of the image. The beads are green also. It would look nice hanging on a wall and would also work on a table or shelf.

The colors don't really show up in this photo. The gold artificial sinew and pine needles are the center. That is followed by black pine needles. Then each side is wrapped with a blue waxed linen which goes up the sides to the black beads. I'm happy to send more (better) photos or a video.

Waterfall
This piece is made on a ceramic base with pine needles, sinew, a rock and bead "water drops". This is an award winner - third place in the professional division of the Northeast Basketmakers Guild. 5" high and 9" at its widest point. $130.00 plus shipping

Catching Stars
This piece is pine needles, waxed linen netting and bead "stars" on a ceramic base. 8.5" high and 5" diameter $135.00 plus shipping

Vessel: This piece has leather "lines" and wooden beads between the pine needle coils. Waxed linen is wrapped on the rim.

Agate Moon: a slice of agate is held by a wire frame. The pine needle coiling and open netting section perfectly compliment this piece. It would look great in a window with the light shining through the agate and would work equally well on a table.

Oyster Shell Centers
One of my favorite centers for the pine needle baskets are oyster shells. These two are each based on opposite sides of oyster shells. The left one is made with dyed and natural pine needle with beads and sections wrapped with waxed linen. The one of the right is titled Mermaid's Bowl. It is made with pine needles, waxed linen and sea shells. Perfect for any mermaids you know.
Both are finished with bees wax for strength.

Title: Pods of Fun
This basket delights in nature. It is made with pods that a friend collected in Arizona. The black walnut slices are from a tree in my yard. The pine needles are all collected in Florida from the long leaf pine trees. I used waxed linen to sew it together and finished it with bees wax. It could easily be mounted on a wall. If you like to collect things from nature, you will love this basket.
It is 10" across and 2" high.
