Learn the ancient art of coiling with pine needles
No classes schedule at this time.
Classes can be scheduled at your convenience.

We use long leaf pine needles from the southern coastal regions that have been treated with glycerin; so are softer, flexible and glistening. You will have a choice of several different types of bases - wooden cut out, oyster shell, resin, slice of black walnut or ceramic. I will demonstrate several stitches and you can incorporate beads or wrapped sections to make a unique basket. This 6 hour class is usually long enough to complete a small basket. If you are unable to finish during class time, I will make sure you know how to finish at home and have the supplies you will need. Cost is $80.00 and includes materials for one basket.
