We use long leaf pine needles from the southern coastal regions that have been treated with glycerin; so are softer, flexible and glistening. You will have a choice of several different types of bases - wooden cut out, oyster shell, slice of black walnut, ceramic or even other tag sale finds. I will demonstrate several stitches and you can incorporate beads or wrapped sections to make a unique basket. This 6 hour class is usually long enough to complete a small basket. If you are unable to finish during class time, I will make sure you know how to finish at home and have the supplies you will need. Cost is $80.00 and includes materials for one basket.
