Base-ics of Round Reed basketry
Round reed is one of my favorite materials for baskets. It is very flexible and can be woven into almost any shape - cat cubbys, animals, bird house, open weave baskets and the list goes on. It has a smooth surface so creates elegant baskets.

There can be one to four classes. Each class will focus on a different base plus you will learn the basic weaves and rims used for round reed. The classes are progressive to give you a complete grounding in the weaving of round reed. These skills will also translate to working with willow and other vines.
